Kate Scavello is Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary for Maximus. She brings more than 20 years of experience advising public and private companies on corporate governance, securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and strategic transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Kate previously served as general counsel for iCIMS, a leading HR software company, where she was responsible for all legal, compliance, and governance matters.  She has held other key legal leadership positions at leading global technology companies, serving as deputy general counsel for Alarm.com, associate general counsel for Millennial Media, and assistant general counsel for Blackboard. Earlier in her legal career, Kate was an associate at Bryan Cave, LLP, where she practiced corporate and securities law.

Kate holds an A.B. from Princeton University, an M.A. from the University of Virginia, and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
